National Safer Internet Centre (Narodni Centrum Bezpecnejsiho Internetu, NCBI) has been the national partner for the Get Online Week since 2014. In 2017, again it will lead the Get Online Week activities in Czechia.
The focus of GOW17 will be the topic of Cybersecurity. NCBI will lead an online awareness campaign with an emphasis on personal data protection in relation to digital skills for employment. The campaign will be promoted in cooperation with eSkills and eTwinming projects as well as with the just launched National Coalition for Digital Jobs in Czechia
NCBI will prepare an information leaflet and a toolkit for organizers of workshops in information centres for youth/schools/public libraries.
On the topic of e-services, NCBI will produce an information brochure about the MojeID (Czech version of the OpenID).
The main partners for this year’s Get Online Week in Czechia are: House of Foreign Services of the Ministry of Edication (DZS), DigiKoal ( National Coalition for Digital Jobs), ICM, SKIP, JŠI.
Altogether NCBI will involve 24 partners and 500 users.
